Documents required when reserving seats for organized groups of passengers

For the period of mass summer transportation to ensure a guaranteed high level of service for groups of children, advance preparation of rolling stock in accordance with the necessary sanitary and technical requirements, applications from organizations for the transportation of the State Duty State Duma are accepted more than 90-60-45 days before the departure of the train.

The storage period for reserved seats for the OGP, OGP is 20 days from the date of reservation, but no later than 10 days before the train's departure. When reserving seats less than 10 days before the departure of the train, the redemption of the reserved seats is made on the next day.

For the reservation of seats in long-distance trains for organized groups of passengers, the carrier charges a fee. The fee is charged per seat when applying for a seat reservation. In case of cancellation of reserved seats, the received fee is not refundable.

When booking seats on trains, plying in domestic traffic and in traffic with the CIS countries, the Baltic States and Abkhazia the fee is differentiated: for organized groups of passengers and for organized groups of children and (or) schoolchildren. When reserving seats for organized groups of children and (or) schoolchildren, adults accompanying such groups (at the rate of not more than one adult accompanying 10 children and (or) schoolchildren) are charged a fee for reserving seats on long-distance trains, established for organized groups of children and (or) schoolchildren.

When issuing travel documents, the sending organization must submit a written confirmation of the provision of hot meals for children when traveling for more than a day (concluding an agreement no later than 15 days before the departure of the train). When traveling for less than a day - to provide dry rations, taking into account the approximate list of products approved by the authorities of Rospotrebnadzor in railway transport.

A legal entity draws up the ordered travel documents no later than the deadline set by the railway. If travel documents are not issued by the representative of the organized group within the established period, the application will be cancelled. The application fee is non-refundable.

Discounts in domestic traffic

In accordance with the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of December 30, 2010 No. 1172 organized groups of students receive a 50% discount from the cost of travel in passenger and fast trains formed by Russian Railways and FPC in reserved seat and general carriages in the period from January 1 to May 31 inclusive and from September 1 to December 31 inclusive.

When boarding a train for organized groups of children (schoolchildren) on preferential travel documents, it is necessary to present certificates from general educational institutions of full-time education confirming education in this institution, and birth certificates.

Russian Railways presents a list of requirements for a set of documents for accepting an application for collective delivery. It is necessary to prepare:

  1. A letter of application indicating the name of the organization or public authority, the date of departure, the class of service and the number of employees in the team;
  2. List of departures with the inclusion of full names and passport data for filling out bills of lading;
  3. When transporting schoolchildren, the accompanying citizens and the organizer of the group are additionally included in the list.

Booking a seat on long-distance trains involves the payment of a commission fee. A differentiated amount is charged from each passenger, depending on the carrier's fare and the size of the assembled team. In case of cancellation of the seat reservation, the commission fee is not compensated.

From 01.01.2017, new tariffs for booking passenger seats for group transportation are in effect:

  • When moving employees of organizations, the booking fee is 319.1 rubles. for a dedicated shelf in the car;

If the duration of the trip exceeds 24 hours, it is necessary to prepare documents certifying the availability of hot meals for children. Registration and approval of documents is carried out in the local department of Rospotrebnadzor. If the distribution of hot meals will be handled by commercial organization, it is necessary to sign a security agreement with her no later than 15 days before departure on the route.

If the duration of the trip does not exceed 24 hours, it is required to coordinate the provision of the group of children with dry rations in the same territorial department of Rospotrebnadzor.

The direction of papers for a group transfer on behalf of legal entities is carried out at the specified intervals. If tickets are not received or paid for within the given time intervals, the application will be cancelled. The reservation fee is non-refundable.

In order to confirm the right to a preferential transfer for schoolchildren over 14 years old, it is necessary to confirm the right to a privilege with certificates from the school when generating forms.

In accordance with Decree No. 1172 of the Government of the Russian Federation, trained groups of schoolchildren are offered a 50% discount and the opportunity to issue cheap travel documents for ambulances and passenger trains formed by Russian Railways or FPC.
